Newt Mission

Newt Mission is a non-profit 501(c)3 started in honor of my late sister, Dr. Renee Schwandt. Renee was a wonderful sister, daughter, wife & mother, as well as an outstanding physician. Everyone who was touched by her will remember her for her caring nature, the great sense of humor and passion for helping others. Newt Running is dedicated to helping those in need, to carry on the legacy that Renee had while here on earth.

Founded in 2017, Newt Mission's vision is to provide events that promote health and wellness to everyone in our community, regardless of their age or ability. We want everyone to have the ability to acheive their own personal success story!

Our Mission

Our mission is simple... to promote health and wellness. We donate funds to the Essentia Health NICU with the smallest of patients, provide events that promote a healthy lifestyle to the entire family through the Essentia Health Go Far Woman, and we are brining an event to people with special needs and celebrating their abilites and successes!
